Can anyone tell me if they've used coconut oil & its improved your cholesterol? I've heard pro's & con's and would like to hear some real life experiences

Just to clarify, it has to be cold-pressed virgin coconut oil. I use it for cooking eggs. Some people here in the Philippines take it straight from the bottle like cough syrup.
I can't really say if it improved my lipid profile since I'm on Atkins that that alone will do it.

I used it briefly, but was unable to evaluate its supposed health benefits, as I stopped using pretty quickly. Here in Italy it's hellishly expensive, so I reverted to our wonderful EVOO.
I too, will be interested to see what others have to say about it.
