Getting bent isn't the answer for the new me!!!

I just want to add this in.

Alcohol besides junk food, in particular sugar was my comfort when things got tough. I've been through problems and **** like anyone else while on this new WOE, and my mind would say get a drink, a nice stiff drink will make you "feel" so much better. Well, when I think about the **** my body has been through (being fat) and how I might not make it back the way I began (the weight and inches I've lost), I stop and say No! Drinking to relieve the pressure is only temporary, but what I think about too is what comes along with that: Hangovers, Headaches, Induction Flu, Depressed, Worthlessness, Hopelessness, Foolishness, and most of all gaining more weight!!!! I'm glad that I choose this WOE over soothing my woe's which only last for a small time. So, my statement to myself for the day is: Never give up on something you want so bad, problems have solutions no need to be sad! Sounds sorta lame, but hey it works for me.

I totally feel u hun I myself prolly would be considered an "alcholic" by medical standards, I've been sober for about 2 weeks and counting!!
Its my drug of choice over everything...because alot of ppl don't see it as "bad" their like "oh its just a lil drink it won't kill u..." but in reality it will and does...I see I have a problem and I'm trying to fix it now before it becomes a very serious problem as I get older...I'm only 22 and I was peeing blood at one point...so yeh I feel I need to nip mine in the bud...my b/f is on the sober bandwagon with me...he's had much more success with it than me...
if you ever need to talk to someone, I'm here
