Hello everyone! I started extended induction today so far I am doing great. I had an addiction to coffee. I really couldn't get my day started without it. I had 2 BIG cups in the morning and I had to have another 2 cups around 2:00 just to make it throught the rest of the day. I tried to quit cold turkey but that didn't work. So I went out and bought a can of Decaf and replaced 1 scoop of regular with decaf. I did this for about a week until I had only decaf coffee. This really helped me. Now I only drink decaf in the morning and I can skip the afternoon coffee all together. Since starting Atkins I have plenty of energy and I don't need it. I feel so free now that I am not addicted to coffee. I am also saving tons of $$$$$$. I am not buying a cup of coffee (sometimes 2) at Dunkin Donuts everyday at 2.19 a pop. Add that up at the end of the year!!!! Good Luck!
