    So glad to hear you are doing well! The statistics I've heard are it takes approximately 100 lbs of excess weight to equal the health risks of smoking, so don't be too concerned about putting on a few pounds right now. Just know that you are putting on less pounds now than you would have if you were not doing Atkins and exercising, and that it will come back off as soon as your body works itself back to normal.

    Be careful next week, as things will get easier, but the cravings can sneak up on you when you don't expect it. The first three weeks are labeled week 1: **** Week, week 2: Heck Week, and week 3: Weak Week, so that puts you right at weak week. Take care of yourself this week. Spend some time pampering yourself, and really enjoy those three mile walks. You have done so much to make yourself healthier, you should be very proud!

    Thanks so much for the compliments on my new web site! I still have a lot to do on it. My DH and I are hopeful that things will work out. Of course, we have almost no chance if we do not try.

      i read that letter you wrote to nicoteine , when in doubt you should re-read it

      sad to say im a smoker for the past 7 years now , but i hope to be quitting sometime in the near future .

      keep at it , not only are cigarettes carcinogens , they are also draining to the wallet and make us smell bad
