  • Hey Ladies - Update

Hi Everyone! How is everyone? Wanted to check in and see how everyone is doing and give an update on me…
I have lost 22 lbs! and am really excited. I think the BC pills are getting my hormones regulated
And I think helping me lose the weight. I’ve lost 22 lbs since January, but I’ve been on a “clean’
Induction for the past 13 days and I have lost 10 lbs!!!!! Something is finally clicking. I am also
Continuing to exercise. I’ve also added in a 10-25 min walk in the morning at work to help get my metabolism
Working and I’m eating breakfast! (except today). I am feeling great and I cannot believe I’ve lost 10 lbs in one week.
That hasn’t happened with my other clean inductions, so I’m surprised but soooo glad. I really think it is the
difference in the hormones. I’ve been working out for at least an hour a day plus the walks in the morning.
I have to say that I’m feeling great and wearing a pair of jeans today that were too tight 2 weeks ago.
I love ATKINS. I love this WOE, WOL.
PCOS update: They want to keep me on the bc pills for the next 2 months to see if things continue to improve.
As far as losing weight, my doc suggested that I train for a marathon (which I did before in college and it really helped).
So I’M going to continued to walk my hour + a day and look into training for a marathon again.

Glad you're doing better. As for me, I'm just struggling. Tomorrow I'm starting again with my mini goal to get to 300...hoping that helps. So many things are piling up on me and we all know PCOS makes emotional problems worse. Just wish family would be nice or go away...is that asking too much??? :sadblinky

      Hi Casey,

Congrats on the 22lb loss!!!! :clapping You never know, at the rate you are going, you may not need those pills anymore Good to see you exercising - I recently started to walk home from work instead of taking the bus and it feels good! Just an added encouragement for you, I found that by losing those pounds I have so far, my TOMs are getting a little more regular and I don't need the bc pill as much to keep me regular - I'm so pleased about that! - so how's that as encouragement for you?

      Cheers

Maribelle - I don't know the situation with your family, but you are here to be a better, healthier you. I know it's hard, but focus on your progress so far, get involved in a sport or get a work-out buddy for support. A lot of people do not realize how tough this is for us.

Keep up the good work. We will all support you here!!!!

Tickle, thanks! I AM hoping that losing more weight will cause my hormones to get back in line. For now though, the bc pills are working wonders. I was losing almost everyday and for the past few days I've stopped. I feel bloated and I'm down to a 19 lb loss. I've upped my exercise and am trying to up my water.

Congrats on your cycle becoming more regular. That's fantastic. Yes, I've found that adding in more distance during the day has been helping. And eating breakfast!

Keep up the good work, you're getting healthier (and probably happier too!)

Sorry...I was pretty negative in such a happy post! ensive Things are better, and I talked to the person giving me grief. As for you...BIG CONGRATS! :hug I'm so glad you're feeling better. I'm hoping this diet brings things about pretty quick. It would be great to be expecting soon.

By the way, I've tried everything I could to see what's in the hands in your Avatar...what is it?

Update for me...TIRED! I'm struggling with the flu right now, and I think I'm beating it. The depression thing is still an issue, but I think it was the Splenda. I know at least you, Casey, and you Tickle have seen the post I made in the CC. That stuff is AWFUL! I've also heard now that aspartame brings on Alzheimer in women as young as 30! It creeped the **** out of me when I realized I'm 30 and my memory STINKS! I've been drinking the stuff religiously since I was nine. If I have alzheimers, I'll be the next little man goes after big company law suit you hear about...lol. ( just kiddin' around)

Its a really beautiful evening, and all I can think about is going for a walk...this it me! Miss If-its-exercise-count-me-out! I think I'll do it just to spite myself. See ya around, ladies!
