Can you have PCOS and still have a normal TOM. Because I was never dignosed with PCOS and the only symptoms I would have would be overweight and the little extra facial hair. Hey and I just wanted to tell everyone that they should try Sally Hansen's Brush-On Facial Hair Remover. It's a miracle what it can do. Oh about the overweight thing I have been overweight my whole life, but now it's effecting me. Because I want another baby. I concieved my son in just three weeks. But my husband and I have been trying for a while and nothing and I'm only 22. The doctor said that it was my weight. Sorry for just going off at the mouth but if anyone out there has had the same problem or any advice please repost.

Smile 22, the only way to really know whether you have PCOS is to go see your doctor. I've never had a normal TOM in all my 36.5 years of existance. My dear hubby & I tried to have a baby for the first 12 years of our marriage but no luck, even with medical intervention. Granted, everyone is different, but that's why you need to seek medical advice to get the correct diagnosis. I hope you are able to conceive your second child.

Keep up with this diet and chances are you will concieve! I tried for 16 yrs to conceive with no luck. Then i went on Atkins in 2003 and after 5 months on the diet i finally conceived!! As far as PCOS, i was never officially diagnosed with it either, but i think i might have it. I have the facial hair also, and i have had problems with cysts on my ovaries many times over the years, even to the point of having surgery to remove them more than once. I even had part of each ovary removed back when i was 19! I don't know why atkins finally made me conceive, it could be the weight loss, or it could be the actually way of eating..or both...i just know i have a beautiful 21 mos old to prove it!
