  • Glad for all the support...Im new to all of this.

Hello everyone!! I am on day 6 on induction and am living with PCOS. I was diagnosed as a young teenager and have been struggling with it ever since...I am now 27. I constantly struggle with my weight. I decided to do atkins....and here I am. I have to say, I feel as if I am screaming out for support. It is soo hard for me to lose this weight....and I know Im supposed to stay off the scale, but in 6 days I have only lost 1 lb. I know 1 lb is better than gaining it. I also took my measurements today too. So, Im trying not to rely on the scale so much. Well, anyway...if anybody out there would like to take me under their wing..please go ahead. I really want to succeed. It's nice to see that other people out there are going through the same battles with PCOS. I look forward to talking with you.

Just keep going the course! Don't let the weight thing bother you! Sometimes our PCOS bodies are so out of whack, it takes a while for this way of eating to regulate our hormones, and then the weight loss speeds up! This is the BEST diet for PCO, and you will start seeing and feeling improvements in no time! So many give up when the scale doesn't fall as dramatically as they would like, but I assure you, just keep it up! You are one pound closer to your goal then before, and at least, it isn't going up anymore!

      Hello fellow PCOS sister!
I know how unbelievably hard the first 2 weeks are. I was in the exact same boat, only 1-2 pounds in 9 days. Then all of a sudden it started falling off...really! Have faith! It will come.
And you are right - it is the only thing we need to keep PCOS in check - my hormone levels are all fine now, and cycles went to 29 days every month!
And....got pregnant twice which I thought would never happen.

      Best of luck to you
