  • IS THIS PCOS?

I am not sure if i have this or not but i have always had "female problems" hope this isnt too graphic-- but i had to go on Birth control when i was 15 cuz i had bad bleeding nad cramps and HUGE(like golf ball size) clots(sorry too much info).. so ive been on the bill since then for that now for BC resons.. anyways, they thought i may have endomitriosis but then they never said anythings else- so??? im on the pill still so everything TOM wise is ok, but the left side like i guess my overies are sore alot of the time- so sorry this is so long could i have PCOS- what exactly is it.

Have you discussed this with your doctor? Has he/she run any tests for PCOS? As far as the diagnosis of endomitriosis, were you treated for that? If so, did it help?

They check for endometriosis via laparoscopic surgery. As for PCOS, symptoms can be excess hair, pain, excess weight that is hard to shift and ovarian cysts.

I'd really suggest going to your doc, pain like that isn't something you should have to put up with.

go to your doc and they will take some blood and test your hoirmone levels and some other things like insulin reisitance and do a pelvic exam. then based on all your blood levels and physical examie determin of you have it.

Basically you have too much androgen and too little estrogen floating around in your body because things that effect the production/conversion of these hormones are out of kilt.
Atkins low carbing can help with the treatment of it too.
