AF- I think?

  • AF- I think?

    I've been under so much stress this week. My blood pressure has been up too! I went to the bathroom today and I wiped reddish orange. About 2 hours later there was more but very light. I'm shocked because I'm under so much stress and wonder if this is AF or something to do with pcos. My breast feel so full and heavy. I'm extremly tired like my iron is low. The 30th will be one month on atkins. Yesterday and today I had bad days and cheated big time.

    ps i'm having bad hotflashes tonight

    Goodness Dreamin!

    It really sounds like your hormones are working to level out. I like you am late (7 weeks), I don't know if it's the diet, travel or the weather. My body seems to like to skip around a little when it gets too hot or too cold.

    Are you taking any vitamins? That might help you.

      Hi Kiki. Well i guess it is AF. I'm still very light but AF is present. If this means my hormones are balancing out, then i wonder what are other signs. Now, i need to decide do i hurry up and try to get pregnanat or wait until Nov and hope to have another AF. When is a woman more fertile after AF?

        A womans most fertile days are around day 14, but it varies. And seriously varies with women with PCOS. So that's a hard one. You can buy ovulation tests at the drug store.

        BTW... I read where estrogen is stored in fat, so when you are on Atkins and burning up that fat, you get alot of estrogen floating around in your system. That is probably why cycles can get out of whack.

          Well its now a regular AF. I'm so tired. My last TOM was in April. My body feels like its burning up. Once i have my Af I will drop weight even faster now. I have a 3 day weekend and hope to rest.

            This AF has drained me. Friday and Saturday were very heavy. Today was day 5 of TOM. I had cramps most of the time and midol didnt really help. My stomach feels so bloated. Who know how long i should wait before getting pregnant. Having this period means my hormones are balanced -right? Should i wait until i have another period before trying? I just want to make sure i'm healthy enough to carry a pregnancy to full term since i've had a misscarrigage in the past.

                Hi kiki. AF wore out her welcome and is now gone-lol! I feel better but drained still. Must be the heat. I guess i'm fertile for now. Hopefully next month i will have another cycle but not as bad. I have my annual appt with my obgyn dr. at the end of the month. I want him to check my hormones, thyroid and whatever else. I would like to know what test should be run for pcos-if anyione knows please let me know.

                I'm in the sept. abs and squat challenges. I've been unmotivated to do cardio and hand weights. I'm doing 100 abs,50 squats and 50 twist with ball.

                How are things going with you?
