New & already results!!!

Hello Everyone

I just want to say hi and introduce myself. I am from South Africa and I started with Atkins on 15 Aug. 2007 and I already see results with my PCOS symptoms. All my Acne cleared up. I am still waiting for my period though, but I hope that I'll get more regular periods from now on.

My husband and I have been ttc'ing for 4years. We had failed clomid cycles (no ovulation), failed IUI cycles with injections and trigger shot and a failed IVF cycle with Menopur injections. Thus now I am trying to fall pregnant with the help of Atkins. I see here are alot of success stories, I hope to be one of them.

Congratulations!!! Don't be worried if your period is late, mine skipped a month. But it finally came and the cramps weren't nearly as bad as they usually are. I could actually function!

I wish you tons of luck and welcome!! Together we can all take control of our bodies

Thank you for the warm welcome.

I am having new bloodtests done in 2 weeks time to see if there is any change in my hormone levels. Can't wait, even though I am scared like crazy of needles.

I really feel so much better after starting Atkins, I just need to keep this up. I have really bad cravings over weekends, that's when I used to eat all kinds of crap.

My prayers are truly with you, as I know what you are going through. I too am using low carbing not only to lose weight and be healthy, but to aide in our journey on TTC baby #1. If you don't mind, I would love to check in with you from time to time, to see how things are going .

Welcome! I was on atkins for about 5 weeks before starting my period. Stick with the diet and your cycle will come.
