hi dream.I to have pcos.If your periods are irregular that means that your probably not ovulating. Are your on any meds?I too was scared about getting pregnant but i have a happy healthy baby boy.My dr was strict about my diet and had to eat low carb while pregnant.I found out about metformin to help get pregnant it is a diebetes med.so i started that i had regular periods with taking that.still no preg.so i started clomid for 3 rounds and got pregnant and had a mc.well we was not going to give up so i went back to the dr. and had 1 more round of clomid. My dr said she would like for me to get in the more tecchnical stuff to get pregnant.I was not ready for that i wanted to get pregnant on our own.so i told my dr. i will diet and exercise and lose weight and take metformin and i got pregnant.I did a lot of research on the web and read as many books about pcos and pregnancy.I would suggest you do the same it is real important to educate yourself about ovulation and everything else involved. It helped me tremendosly(sp). My dr was impressed about how much i knew.I hope this helps. And a word of advice don't rush things it will happen.
good luck to what ever your choose.if you have and questions fill free to ask.

Hello. Since healthy eating L/C i have had two periods in the last 3 months, which is amazing. With that i'm feeling very fertiel. I usually have 2-3 per year. I'm not on any meds because i want to try naturally. I havent attempted to get pregnant just yet. Looking on fetelity chart this weekend shows i will be fertile.

I had a miscarriage a few years ago but i was under lots of stress at work and I have highblood pressure. Work is nolonger stressful and my blood pressure is better. Thanks for letting me know about metformin helping in the 1st trimester.

        Congrats on your baby boy.

I was diagnosed with PCOS early 2001. I had been on the pill for over 12 years then went off when I had my first son. I only had 3 periods in two years. The doctor I had kept telling me "just wait another 3 months". Well then I started spotting every single day. I went on like that for an additional 3 months before I decided to get a second opinion. My second opinion diagnosed me with PCOS. She did the ultrasound and found fibroids and cysts on both ovaries. She was concerned about length of time I was spotting so she did a biopsy. Thank goodness everything was okay. Anyway she put me on the Pill again and about 4 months into that the spotting stopped. At least the pill forced me to have my period since I wasn't ovulating on my own. I wouldn't recommend the pill for everyone since there are side effects.

My new doctor informed me my chances of having another child would be difficult but to wait after a year of being on the pill then try. Well I went off the pill in 04/2004 and to my surprise I was pregnant by 5/2004. The very first try and I was pregnant. I was amazed and shocked. I was planning on a long and stressful attempt at getting pregnant.

My pregnancy was stressful because it was high risk and I had a previous son with a congenital heart defect but my son came out a healthy 9lb 11oz screaming baby. I am so blessed. Of course, I'm back on the pill because I don't ovulate and because I have acne roseca but I do not plan on having anymore children.

I wish you the best of luck.

does it freeze up only when you use the link or also when you type it in yourself? Also you may be able to find another site with the same content.I used this site becuase they have a chart. You take your tempeture in the morning even before you get out of bed and you put your readings in every day and when your chart spikes the highest is when you ovulate.I only used it once or twice to see what cd i ovulated on.And then i just counted cycle days and when i told my husband to jump he jumped(if you know what i mean).I'll see if i can hunt some more sites for ya and i will pm them to you if thats ok.
