Hi I am a new member to Atkins. I started yesterday and am on induction. Wanted to just throw out info on PCOS...was diagnoised with about 10 years ago after about 20 years of no periods. I wanted to have a baby so i pursued fertility treatments for 10 years. I am now 41 years old and have a 5 year old and a 2 year old. So for all of those members hoping for families it is possible. Yes weight loss has a dramatic affect on the PCOS. Since it has to do with over producing insulin and resistance. Then atkins is a great diet. I have noticed through the years everytime I would lose weight 15lbs or more i would have a spontaneous period. So keep plugging along with a very frustrating illness..

Hi I too have PCOS and am on my 4th day of induction. On my 2nd day I finally had a cycle after 2 months. I guess my body went in to shcok from the lack of carbs.
