          Thanks ladies...I will spell it out. P C O S
I haven't been diagnosed with it but I have a strong suspicion that I have it. I have several of the symptoms and the quiz I took online suggested that I go make an appointment.

I just want to make sure they know what I'm asking about!

2Big - we're not laughing at you...cause its more about pronounciation than spelling!

          Thanks all.

trust me californiacasey my spelling is discussed all the way to the admin board at least so said a former early admin here.

When you discuss it with your doc be prepared for some blood work to check all kinds of things to determine if you got it and what type you got too.

Atkins low carb helps with the insulin resistant PCOS type as several Atkinseers have discovered with surprise pregs when they didn't think they could.

Well 2Big, your helpful advice and support mean much more than your spelling :yes

I got an appointment for April 20th. My request for the appt was to be tested/evaluated for PCOS. I am preparing to bring in my research, my symptoms and also what I have done about certain symptoms.

              (DELETED)

I also had a long discussion with my sister who is training to be a mid-wife who has been reading about infertility and PCOS. There are many of the symptoms that I have been complaining about for the past 3-4 years and PCOS made total sense to her and me. She, nor my other sister have displayed the kind of symptoms that I have.

So thanks for the advice. I will be prepared before I go to the appointment.

              Thanks for the advice all...
