I am 34; have PCOS (but i'm a mother of 3). I am not diabetic but weight has always been an issue unless diet, exercise and restriction of carbs have been a part of my life.
Recently at a check up I was told my FSH & LH hormone levels were dangerously low; so now I'm being sent for genetic testing for Lynch Sydrome; MRI of the brain to check for pituitary issues; colonoscopy to check stuff there; PAP test (like normal) and Mamogram.
I have been having some rather large cysts lately and had many little ones to go along with that. at times 16-20 cysts with 3 or 4 grapefruit sized.
So the main thing with the MRI tho is this hypogonadotropic amenorrhea. Has anyone with PCOS (on these forums) been diagnosed with this?
