  • Menstrual Changes

I've never been diagnosed with PCOS, however, I have a threshold weight, past which my cycles become very infrequent and I start to have the hariness.

Four days (about) into induction, I started my period after 4 months without one. The first week was normal. I'm not a heavy bleeder and in 4-5 days, it's over.

This time, however, after 5 days, I thought it was over. On day 6, nothing. day 7, I began to bleed again. I'm on day 9 and I'm bleeding on and off with no rhyme or reason.

    Is this diet related?

    Re: Menstrual Changes

It could be. When you are losing weight, you are releasing some of the estrogen that is stored with it, so the hormones get messed up. But if the problem continues, I would see a doctor.

Thanks. I usually had regular cycles but since I've been over the threshhold...you know.

Hopefully, this is just a sign that my hormonal issues are being worked out through the diet.

      Thanks again for the response.
