I just had my first Ultrasound last week and that confirmed my due of January 25th!!!! OH and I also got to hear the heartbeat even though I was only 8 weeks pregnant. While she was doing the ultrasound she turned on the mic on the machine and there it was. So cool how much they can do these days. I can't wait to be far enough along to find out what it is. We have a 1 yr old baby girl already which is what I wanted very much with the first pregnancy. Now that I got my girl the first time it takes a lot of pressure of this one. I can just enjoy. I really don't care what it is as long as everything goes well. Another girl would be nice for clothes and sharing rooms etc... but we don't have a boy so that would be nice also. I am nervous because they will only be 19 months apart but I am sure it will all work out.

Wow we're so close in due dates it's scary. LoL. I'm due January 24th and just had my first ultrasound yesterday at 11 weeks. We didn't get to hear the heartbeat but we did see it. I can't wait until we can know whether ours is a boy or a girl either. We're really hoping for a girl though. This is my first so I'm pretty nervous but I think seeing the ultrasound helped a bit.

I was just going to reply to the ultrasound pics and saw you posted here also-lol. I didn't get the e-mail though so I didn't know. I was just about to ask you your due date because I am 11 weeks 1 day. Very very close. Those pics are amazing. I had one just a few weeks ago and it looked like an alien now at 11 weeks they look like a baby already. I was VERY nervous with my daughter as I had lost 2 before her so I know how it feels. I am still nervvous just busy with the baby so it takes my mind off it. With my daughter I rented a heart beat doppler just like the doctor uses. It really helped to hear her heartbeat everyday. I wish I could have an ultrasound machine in my house-haha. I found out at 17 weeks what my daughter was so you only have a few weeks to go. YOu may have to beg for another ultrasound so soon though. Congrats and the pics look great!!! I hope its a girl for you. God we are only a day apart thats crazy!!!

I just wanted to congratulate you both! My oldest was born January 17th, so January is a GREAT month to me!!

So my doctor changed my due date. Well not changed really. If I go by a 28 day cycle my due date would have been Jan 21st but my periods are never 28 days and were more like 35 days when I got pregnant and that is why she even sent me for a ultrasound. So I had my apt last week and even though the ultrasound put me at January 25th she said she is still going to go by January 21st because of when my last period was. I even questioned her but that is how she wants to do it. It just annoys me that she isn't listening to me about my own body. I know exactly when I got pregnant. Oh well then I will just have my C-section (I had one with my daughter and was told I will need one again) earlier. I just worry about the time sensitive tests but as long as I know how far along I really am I guess I can watch for a problem like that. So now my due date is before you Skyye but I am still counting 13 weeks today.

Ah well due dates are hardly ever exact anyways. As long as the baby is nice and healthy it doesn't matter when it gets here, right?

Looks like this thread was for January 2006, but what the heck, I'm due January of 2007! Anyone else? I've been told Jan 10, Jan 12 and Jan 14 by 3 different doctors, hahaha, so the real date is still up for guessing.

So far I haven't had any true morning sickness, nausea, etc. But what I have had (and lots of it) is fatigue. I could pretty much sleep 24 hours a day lately.

Anyone else walking this journey with me?

I am due January 21st with my second baby. This one is a girl. I am following what I guess you could call a loose maitenance plan which has been working very well for me. I have only gained 12 pounds and I am maintaining that for almost 2 weeks. I am not trying to lose weight, just gain the appropraite(sp) 25-30 pounds my dr. recommended. So far so good.

Okay, so who else is due in January??

I hope everyone is healthy and I hope their babies are doing great.

I'm not due in Januray.......Heck, I am not even pregnant. But, I got news from my Dr. today that I could begin prepping myself for pregnancy and can begin TRYING in January!!! So thats as good as pregnant to me! So, January is an important month for me in other ways. Hopefully I'll be posting here regulary next year as well!
