    Now this is just one article I saw but it does have a "warning" about pregnant and breastfeeding women but do feel that 1 TBS is ok. Take a look just thought it was some good information!!

    I'm telling you... I miss my flax seed. I figure I'll just wait till after I'm done breast feeding to start it up again.

        flax contains a cyanide compound that acts like cyanide when eatten raw which is one very big reason it is banned in Japan. The heat of cooking breaks down this compound into a harmless compound but the warning for preggos and breast feeders is cause only take a very small amount to harm that very small body of your baby. Flax oil doesn't contain this compound if you want to eat the oil for the benefits other then fiber you get from the flax seeds.
