Baby's first pics

I've been kinda lurking around in here for a while. But I finally have something to share. We had our first ultrasound yesterday. It was so cool to actually see there was a little baby wiggling around in there. I honestly almost cried when I first saw it up on that screen. Silly me. Anyways, on to the pictures!

oh so cool and of course you were crying with tears of joy you are after all preggo many of us don't have that excuse to be crying with joy when we see the pics. so where is your baby naming contest and delovery date and size contest so we can all share in the baby joy too? I figured you'd already have those charts all fixed up with all your charting experience

The baby was looking right at you! What a cool pic! It's amazing how much they can see now adays... Especially at 11 weeks! Congrats to you, and honey I cry when I see my little girl on the screen even now after umpteen ultrasounds!

I actually started thinking about setting up a website for baby today. I may toy around with it in the next few days and see what I come up with. I think the contest ideas are a really neat idea.

There won't be a naming contest though. I've had names picked out for quite a while (before I even got married). If it is a girl (and we really hope it is) her name will be Catherine Lillian after both my grandmothers and one of hubby's grandmothers too. I had Cameron David picked out for a boy but hubby doesn't like it. (David being after my daddy. Yep, I'm a daddy's girl.) He insists that it's a girl name because the only person he can think of with that name is Cameron Diaz. He also has this goofy idea that kids would make fun of the name. He has suggested David Franklin and so far that seems tolerable to me.

My son's name is Cameron Michael and he's never been teased about his name. Except some genius once tried teasing him by calling him "Camera...click click!" He was unimpressed. Just thought I'd share that with you if you're still wanting to name him(if it's a him) Cameron. I've also met lots of Cameron's since my son was born (10yrs ago! 11 next month!) And from young kids to grown ups the only Cameron's I've met were male. Although David is a great first name too! I have a nephew named David and the name "fits" him really well.

Thanks for sharing those pics. I love ultrasound pictures for some reason. Living vicariously through others I imagine. lol. I think I'll go look at them again...
