    Re: Distrubing and sad news

I was very sad to read this thread sister. It must be a very trying time for you. Remember that everything which comes to us is a good thing and I am happy to see you finding the good out of your bad situation. We cannot pretend to have all the answers but it is up to us to do all we can and leave the rest to God.

I'll be adding you in my Dua's and I hope you and your family are feeling better with the knowledge that many others in your situation can leave long, healthy, productive lives. I'm sure that your medicaid situation will also work out. I hope, God willing, that you are able to get in all of your tests ASAP and perhaps get a better diagnosis in order to move on with treatment options. Try to focus your energy on your beautiful new baby growing inside you!

I wish you all the best and please keep us updated.

      Re: Distrubing and sad news

      Hi there,

My friend Leah was diagnosed with MS at the tender age of 21. She has had chemo and a slew of other treatments and will be going to Ottawa to have a stem cell replacement that will give her a new immune system- then more chemo. Facebook.com has many MS support groups, full of young persons like yourself that need to talk about what they are going through and how this disease is affecting them. I urge you to check it out- it makes a tremendous difference when you talk to others that are in the same boat.

I am sorry to hear about your diagnosis. My husband has been diagnosed also with MS. It's been about a year, although it isn't that severe yet, he still has his good days. I will keep you and your unborn in my thoughts and my prayers, best of luck!
