That's all I've got, and that's only if she comes on time! My countdown has officially begun......I'm way too excited. I have a strange feeling that she will be a week or 2 early...hopefully no earlier than that. Unless she's gonna be a huge baby, which I seriously doubt.

Re: 70 days left!
I've got most of my basics. I've still gotta get the carseat and stroller/travel system that go along w. my theme...after that, all we have left to buy is diapers and formula..for after breastfeeding! We are truly ready for her arrival. I made it a point to only buy the things that I know we'll need right off...that way, it won't matter if we get more of the same thing later on.

Yea! It'll fly by so fast!
Ooh..how fun buying the baby stuff! I remember buying diapers in my 1st and 2nd trimester with both my girls, along with Desitin and baby wipes. My hall closet look like I could have opened my own grocery store.

LOL---well, technically I wont be down to 70 days left until I'm 30 weeks...which is Monday. I've just decided to start a little early! Yes, yes..I've got quite a bit of baby stuff already. It's kind of hard not to buy everything I run across, but I was told not to because I would be getting a lot of stuff from others.

Re: 70 days left!
I love baby shopping! One piece of advice though about those diapers--wait until you actually have the baby to go out and buy them. I made the mistake with my first of going out and getting stocked with two huge bags of size newborn and when he came out he went right into size 1. I had to go through the hassle of going back to the store to exchange.
If you do decide to buy ahead, think small--as in package size. You should opt for a few bags of a smaller count in a teeny size otherwise you might end up with a ton of diapers you'll never use because of how quickly they grow out of things. (Also a mistake I've made with my first).
I'd also avoid buying too many size newborn outfits. They grow so fast and it's so heartbreaking to see them outgrow massive quantities of clothing--most of which you never got around to putting on her. (This has also happened to me).
Swings are tricky. Some babies like them and some don't. I'd save the receipt just in case.
Also, if you're gonna get the travel system I'd forget about buying a bouncer. The car seat is ideal for newborns and the upside is that it has a handle. You can tote the baby around the house with you while you get things done--something that's awkward with a bouncer.
Also, instead of buying those expensive waterproof pads for the matress, I just run up to the dollar store and buy a cheap vinal tablecloth--the biggest I can find. Then I cut it up to the size I want and layer it in the crib. One square of vinal tablecloth, one crib sheet, one square of vinal tablecloth, one crib sheet.
It makes nightime accidents a ton easier to clean up after, just rip off the top two layers and you have a ready made crib. It gives you time to fix the mess in the morning when you have more energy.
It's so exciting when you get near the end!! You are going with a Pooh theme right?

Re: 70 days left!
Thanks Meena...got it. I was consideing loading up on formula, but since I have no idea what kind she might reject or what all she's allergic to, we've put that idea on hold. I already know better than to buy a ton of diapers...especially before we know how big she's gonna be. I'm just trying to make sure I've got everything in order. I'm gonna go ahead and pack bags for us all while I'm off this week. That way I can have that out of the way.
