I know this is not Atkins related, but I am posting here since this is the pregnancy forum. I am curious as to if the doctors are still recommending to continue smoking if pregnant. I don't smoke so the issue was never addressed when I was pregnant with my daughter recently.
My girlfriend however just found out she is pregnant (about 5 weeks) and is claiming the doctor's don't want her to quit. Is it because of stress? Everything I have read recently suggest's to quit, as the first few months are the most important for development.
