I was *starving* the entire time I was pregnant - Maybe would be easier to make up some lower carb snackies and keep them around so that instead of grabbing cookies or something on the run you have something set to go instead?

Well, I can say this much... I'm with you in the hunger department!! :yikes

My aunt recently started the South Beach diet, and called me for dieting pointers because I had been so successful with Atkins. I told her, "Honey, I'm the last person you want to be asking for dieting advice right now. As far as food goes, if it's not covered in mud or bolted to the floor, I'm gonna eat it!" :sarcasm ROFL!

Mostly I've craved ice cream and yoghurt through this pregnancy, but lately I've started adding more greenery to my diet...even if I don't want to eat it. I know I needed it. But I'm not so much watching carbs for the moment. I will after I deliver though, and after I've nursed for 4 months. I plan to get back on Atkins then. :nod

Oh... one weird thing, I don't know about everyone else, but with this pregnancy, I have NOT allowed myself to step on the scales. I did up until the 4 month mark, and 10 pounds gained. That was sooo depressing... even though it's perfectly normal and expected that you gain wait when pregnant. Even so, I couldn't help feeling guilty. So after that, I just made up my mind to worry about my weight later. I don't want to discourage myself, so I just stopped weighing. I don't even look at the scales at the doctor's office when they weigh me now. It's probably for the best at this point. I want to eat constantly, so I know I'm probably packing it on!
