hi, could anyone tell me if it is dangerous for my body to be in ketosis while being pregnant.

A pregnant woman should be on the maintenace level of Atkins and should not be in Ketosis. Ketosis in pregnancy is not good for the baby and Dr A is quite clear about that. However it is not the same as, though its often confused with, Ketoacidosis, which is a very dangerous condition of pregnancy, generally requiring hospitalisation.Kate
