  • 6WEC #18, Week 4, Day 2, Mon, June 13

    Hey All!

    Ran 9.5K. It was brutal......at 6:45 AM it was 80F and 90% humidity!

    As soon as I cool off a bit more I'll be heading to the flower garden to continue my weeding.

    Ta, till tomorrow.

    Will be doing strength training and exercise bike tonight when I get home from work - probably 50mins to an hour for the lot.

        Hey here's a catch up: Sat. and Sun. rest days.

        Today I walked 1hour and 15 minutes outdoors...not on the treadmill this time. Visiting my parents, so my routine will be a bit different this week, but I'll still get my exercise in.

          Howdy! :wave

          I didn't do any structured exercise this weekend but I did do a lot of walking from shopping and household stuff.

          Tonight I'm going to do 30 min on the treadmill, but not pushing myself too hard to hurt my hip. I might do some upper body weights, too.

          I'll be out of town tomorrow and Wednesday. I'll be doing a lot of walking around so don't put that "SLUG" next to me yet!!!

          Resting my hip the last few days has really helped and taking those joint vitamins. Aleve helps better than ibuprofens.

          I'll be back Thursday and catch up with y'all! :nod

                      So Sunday I went for a 2 mile walk and then played frisbee with the kids

                      Today I spent 4 hours pushing a lawn mower.
