Dusted off the ol' WATP 1 Mile vid.. It's amazing what happens when you get lazy and don't exercise for a while. That sucker wore me out!

              Re: 6WEC #19, Week 1, Day 3, Tue. July 5th

Yesterday was an unintended rest day. So, I'll exercise Tuesday - Saturday to make up for it.

For today, I just finished mowing the lawn. I'm counting it as exercise because it's not something I normally do & it wears me out more than a 1 hour walk or a WATP DVD. I took me an hour to mow & another 20 minutes to weed & trim the edges.

So, I'm counting that as my 1 hour & 20 mins worth of exercise. I may take a walk later but it's starting to rain, we'll see.....

Does this count or am I just fooling myself??

I actually went to the local YMCA today and used our membership. I had to ask the guy to show me how to use the treadmill (turn it on) and recumbent bike, but I did it! It was hard to venture out of my comfort zone, VERY HARD. But I did and I can say that I...

Walked 13 minutes at 2.3-2.7 on the treadmill
Recumbent biked for 2 (LOL) minutes. That moved muscles I didn't know I had.. lol.

So a total of 15 minutes for me today.
                  Hugs,
                  Kathie

                      30 mins walking.

O.k...so maybe it wasn't intense but it's a good start!
