        Re: 6 WEC, #19, Week 2, Day 4, Wed. July 13th

Mon & Tues: We recently got a notice on Monday that the apartments were having exterminators come on Wed so I've been trying to unpack and put away the last several boxes that were still kinda in the way.

Wed: Sick day. Woke up majorly stuffed up with a headachce and a sore throat. Bleh

And now for the rest of the exterminator story...

After getting the notice, we called the apt office to find out what time the exterminators were going to be here. They tell us that they'll call the exterminators and then call us back and let us know. While waiting I called the dr's office to find out how long I needed to stay out of the apartment to be safe (since I'm pregnant and all). To my astonishment they tell me that I need to be gone for 12 hours! WOW! I was thinking more like 4-6 hours. Good thing I called. Well the apt office doesn't call us back until Tues afternoon and all they can tell us is that it will be sometime after noon. The idea of piddling around somewhere ( with a cat and a dog in tow) until possibly 1 or 2 in the morning or later (which is waaay past my bedtime these days) was just crazy so hubby called them up and managed to get it rescheduled. So now they're coming in a couple weeks at 10AM and I tried to hurry and do something with them darn boxes for nothing. LoL

okay, so I did my best in between being busy, and here's what I got:

                    2 ten minute walks
1 walk up a giant set of stairs at my school
walked up 6 flights of stairs and back down

walked to the bank, and I was going to walk to the bookstore but my foot is feeling funky and I'm really scared to mess it up. So, tomorrow i think i'll swim or something.

Strange tingly feeling on the skin under my foot on the arch when I bend my ankle. So strange!

Oops! forgot to check in Monday and Tuesday! Anyways, they were my rest days and I am back to my 3 days a week. Worked out at the gym and thinking of either upping my exercise time or increasing my workout strength/speeds on the treadmill and bike.

                            Hey!

                            Terminators?

Yeah, we had them come through when we first lived in an appartement building. A necessary evil!!!!!

Although officially today was a Rest Day, I did spend 3 hours in the garden. And, although I was working in the shade and with a straw hat on, I swear I lost 10 lbs. in water weight!!!!!!!! It was 97F in the shade with 80% humidity! I turned on the hose to wash off my feet before going in and almost scalded them!!!!!!! The water was so hot in the hose that I had to water the driveway until it got cool enough to use!

Hot, Hot, Hot!!!! and no relief in sight for at least 10 days.
