  • 6WEC #25 Week 2, Day 5, Thur, Marh 23rd

    Sorry I've been missing for a couple days. I've been up at the hopsital with my dad. He'd been in a motorcycle wreck. As he was riding down a curved road someone ran a stop sign and pulled out in front of him. He wasn't able to see them until he was nearly right on them. He put on the brakes and swerved to avoid the car and then the bike went down and he went sliding down the street and hit the curb and a pole. He's got a bunch of broken ribs, bruised lungs and pancreas, and of course major road rash all over. Thank goodness he was wearing his helmet or it might have been a whole other story.

    So Tues & Weds were "rest" days.
    I haven't done anything yet but I'm hoping to squeeze in the WATP vid later. I'll be checking back as soon as I can.

    So sorry to hear about your dad. You're right though, without the helmet....... I hope he makes a full and speedy recovery.

    1 hour 20 minutes cardio/weights.

      Sorry to hear about your dad. My wishes to him for a speedy recovery.

      Did 40 min elliptical and upper body strength training.

        I regret to say that due to a bit of an injury, I will need to drop out of this exercise challenge. I seem to have fallen off of the tread mill, I am really not sure how this happened, but I got a bit light headed and found myself off of the side of the treadmill with a severely buggered up ankle and knee.

        Keep up the good work all, I will be back for the next one.

              March 21 - 100 crunches, 5 mile walk/jog

              March 22 - 200 crunches 5 mile walk/jog

              March 23 - 150 crunches 6.5 mile walk.

                              Oops, I missed posting this day.
                              I had a 2 mile walk.
                              Female / Currently on Extended Induction (again), begun 6/2/08.

                              I did Extended Induction from 1/3 to 5/9 (2006) and lost 55 pounds, so I know I can do it again!
