    2 mile walk
    Will be doing a LOT of gardening later today as well.
    Female / Currently on Extended Induction (again), begun 6/2/08.

    I did Extended Induction from 1/3 to 5/9 (2006) and lost 55 pounds, so I know I can do it again!

    The reason I quit...

    Rest Day

    Son is now home for the summer, leaving my daytime workout questionable. Hopefully will be able to do it in the evenings instead. (except on Wednesdays, Ghost Hunters tv party, woohoo!)

    several hours later-

    Changed my mind after deciding I wouldn't sleep well without some exercise... made a quick jaunt to the gym.

    30 minutes elliptical and 20 minutes treadmill

      30 minutes of walking and running...
      149.8/no weigh/ 119



      1st goal: 139 (earlier weight)
      what the rungs mean to me:
      rung 1 - more veggies
      rung 2 - dairy (some milk in coffee)
      rung 3 - seeds, nuts (mostly sprinkled on salads)
      rung 4 - berries, melon
      rung 5 - wine -
      rung 6 - beans, hummus
      rung 7 - other fruits
      rung 8 - carrots/ potatoes (nah, prolly not)
      rung 9 - whole grains (fresh Dutch breads...)
      Major Goal - 128 lbs/ healthy range
      (on to pre-maintenance)

        I'm having a rest day. Just keeping up with chores is tough. I sat and graded papers for at least half of the day and stood over a copier the other half. The less I move the tireder (is that a word?) I get....

                Oh, by the way. I am outta here for the weekend from Friday til Monday night! Bahama bound!! So I'll check back in when I get back (after I hopefully find time to get something in tomorrow).

                      Rest Day for me again.

                      Is it normal for the front muscles in my thigh to still ache 2 days after a strenuous 'legs, bum & tum' session? I did do a 'stretch' session after the workout too, but am finding it painful when I climb stairs this morning! The workout on Tuesday was my first 'real' exercising in years though
                      Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?

                        I did 30 minutes of bicycle and 30 minutes of weight training.

                          I take a potassium supplement that seems to help with muscle cramping. Also, I think with time your body will get used to the exercise.

                              200 crunches, upper and lower workout
                              all with light band
                              3x12 pushups
                              3x12 forward raises
                              3x12 curls
                              3x12 rows
                              3x12 tri extensions
                              3x12 calf raises
                              3x12 squats
                              3x12 dead raises
