  • 6WEC#26, Week 3, Day 2, Monday, May 8th

    2 mile walk, plus some extra slower walking and picture taking.

    2 mile bike ride.

    And now I'm heading to clean out the garage, so today's going to be an active one for me!

    Female / Currently on Extended Induction (again), begun 6/2/08.

    I did Extended Induction from 1/3 to 5/9 (2006) and lost 55 pounds, so I know I can do it again!

            Did another session at the health club today.

            As my DH got the stitch and could only do part of his workout I ended up only doing my weights circuit (5 stations : Abdominal Crunch, Chest Press, Pulldown, Leg Press & Tricep Press) and 20 minutes cardio on the bike, but I did work very hard at it!!

            No swim/steam room to wind down this time as he was fed up with waiting for me to finish (bless him) so I am hoping I wont feel too stiff tomorrow.

              Great workout during lunch. An hour of step aerobics and abs...

              1st goal: 139 (earlier weight)
              what the rungs mean to me:
              rung 1 - more veggies
              rung 2 - dairy (some milk in coffee)
              rung 3 - seeds, nuts (mostly sprinkled on salads)
              rung 4 - berries, melon
              rung 5 - wine -
              rung 6 - beans, hummus
              rung 7 - other fruits
              rung 8 - carrots/ potatoes (nah, prolly not)
              rung 9 - whole grains (fresh Dutch breads...)
              Major Goal - 128 lbs/ healthy range
              (on to pre-maintenance)

                Skye, I also worked out on Friday, May 5th. I noticed that you didn't have me down that day. Sorry, to be a pest, but I am sooo excited about making it this time.

                            Today I finished digging and planting and building garden boxes....spent a couple of hours on that project and can sure feel it in my arms.
