Playing catch-up on posting - just back from vacation.

It took forever to get the car packed the 23rd, plus do last minite preparations around the house. Arrived & unpacked 24th. On my first walk on the beach that night, I got to see a Loggerhead turtle returning to the sea after laying eggs. So every morning I took a 1 1/2 mile walk looking for new nests & beachcombing, except 26th, and every night again, except 6/30, hoping to see one being dug. Swimming & boogie-boarding were daytime highlights, along with putt-putt, sightseeing, & people watching. I kept seeing people that looked as heavy as I see myself, and then deciding they are bigger than me now. That's neat. 6/30 was also partial packing, as was 7/1 our departure day. Visited other family 7/2 & 7/3: 2 rest days (except if you count the l-o-o-o-n-g drive). 7/4 unloading car & some yard work. Oh, and gave a pint of blood to the hungry skeeters.
