Here is the link that explains the rules of the 6 Week Exercise challenge:
http://skyye.hardwiredpc.com/6wec/6wec-rules.htm
I would love for everyone who wants to join the challenge to read these.
Thanks!
Rules can also be read here:
1. Make a record of your starting measurements (inches and pounds):
* Under your arms (around your chest) * Hips
* Fullest part of your bust * Upper Arms (both biceps)
* Ribcage * Thighs (both thighs)
* Waist * Weight
Click here for a picture to show you where you should be measuring.
You may keep track of others but the above measurements are the ONLY ones that will
count for the challenge. If everyone is keeping track of different things it makes it more
difficult to pick 3 winners.
Also, you don't have to post them for everyone to see if you don't want to. You can just
write them down somewhere safe for later reference.
2. Decide how many days a week you promise to exercise. The challenge weeks run from
Sunday to Saturday.
3. Things like walking, jogging, running, weightlifting, swimming, playing sports, etc count as
exercise.
4. Try to report in EACH day in in the Exercise Challenge forum on the appropriate thread.
Look for a thread titled something like "6WEC#39 Week 1, Sun, Oct 21." I understand that
sometimes you're just too busy or your computer is down so you can't post. Just report in
as soon as you can so I can get you caught up on the chart. If you have not checked in for
14 days in a row then I will send you a PM on the ADBB forums. If I don't hear from you
within a week then you will be removed from the chart. You're more than welcome to sign
up for a future challenge if you feel you have the time to check in.
5. Once the challenge ends, you have a week to post your losses in inches and pounds if you
want to be considered for a ribbon. Winners are determined first by inches lost and then by
pounds lost. The top 3 winners will be announced the following Sunday and will receive ribbons that can
be placed in their signature if they choose to do so.
6. I will also award "Slug Free" buttons one week after the challenge has ended. This is to
give everyone plenty of time to ensure they are up-to-date on the chart. To be eligible for
the slug free award you must have completed ALL 6 WEEKS of the challenge without
receiving a slug. Sick days do not count against you. Be sure you are up-to-date on the
chart so that you don't miss out.
This is what the button looks like. You may also place it in your signature on the ADBB forums if you like.
