  • 6WEC#33, week 2, day 2, 19th February

    I am feeling very down today, there is no logic behind it but...
    I stepped on the scales, no weight lost this week! I wrote all meals down at the time of making them, and was even sad enough to weigh everything.

    My trousers are looser, my new bra size now comfortable rather than tight, all indications of something happening, especially when...

    I am now progressing to advanced asanas in Yoga, holding for longer and flexing more, + in one week a 5lb improvement on all weights lifted on my Bowflex, a 12.5% improvement on last week!

    Now logically that means I may have increased muscle and that is why the blip, but psychologically I feel as if I have failed...

    Todays exercise done early because I may lack the motivation later, 45 minutes weight training + 100 abs at 40lb resistance.

      Judy! don't let the scales dictate your day, I know it's hard, but forget them - they lie, lie, lie. You're doing great

        The scales really do lie - I always seem to gain after intense exercise (up to 2lbs) which is water weight. Do not let it put you off! Measurements are a far better indication - after all most people will look at you, not pick you up And your trousers are loose which is great!

            55 minutes cardio (slow weight loss this week, tried doing a variety of different cardio activities to give my body something different), 25 abs.
