Re: Sign up for 6WEC #54 here!

Hi I want to do this challenge as im so lazy this will motivate me to exercise just asking were allowed to do any form of exercise even walking?
I dont want to give measurements but will do weigh in from start to end of the six weeks.

Im in for 5 days exercise a week this will be a challenge for me to get up and get active as I always make excuses not to do exercise this is what I needed for motivation. Thanks Elizellen.

Hi Elizellen I just realised I used to state what exercise I did and i seriously never realised they were for the challengers I used to just state what I did and after reading your message I understand now the whole process so im so sorry for using that thread when I was not part of the challengers. How stupid of me?

Yes - 'exercise' for this challenge is any form of moving your body that is extra to what you would be doing if you were not exercising.

So for someone who normally moves very little in their normal life, maybe a stay-at-home or retired person, who only used to get out of the house a few times a week for shopping etc, 'exercise' for the challenge would mean them making a special effort to walk around the block near their home several times a week in addition to their usual trips to the shops.

For someone who is always on the go at work, maybe a nurse who is on her feet most of the day or a warehouseman moving boxes all day, it would mean adding some extra activity, like an exercise class or walk in the evening or pedalling an exercise bike instead of sitting on the couch watching TV before going to bed.

Hopefully as we all get fitter the exercise intensity can increase and become a new 'normal' for us
