  • #57 6 Week Exercise Challenge Sign Up

    The #57 6WEC will begin on Sunday, November 15 and runs through Saturday, December 26
    You have 1 week to sign up, beginning now.

    The rules have changed this year, so if you have not joined us in this challenge recently, please read them to be updated on the changes.

    Sign up!
    1. Tell us how many days a week you will commit to exercising.

    2. Make a note of your beginning measurements.

    You do not have to post them here, in this thread, if you aren't comfortable doing that. Just be sure to write them down someplace safe to compare with your measurements at the end of the challenge.
    Please see the official rules for a picture that shows you where to measure. The following stats are the only ones that will be considered for the ribbon awards.
    -Under arms, around chest
    -Fullest part of chest
    -Ribcage
    -Waist
    -Hips
    -Upper arm x 2
    -Thigh x 2
    -Weight

    Don't forget to check in!
    1. Look for a new thread each day in this forum. It will be titled something like "6WEC#57, Week 1, Day 1, Sunday, November 15"

    2. Tell us whether you exercised, took a rest day or a PTO day.

    3. PLEASE try to post daily! If you can not post daily, please try to post at least a couple times a week.

    Two awards to be won!
    1. The 3 Challengers who lose the most will earn a ribbon. Winners are determined first by inches and then by pounds, using the body stats listed above.
    Slugged Challengers are still able to win a ribbon so if you get slugged, continue to post.

    2. Those who complete all 6 weeks of the challenge without getting slugged will earn a slug free button.
    Each Challenger can use up to 5 PTO days that will not count against them.


    Here is an example of the charting of Exercise, Rest, PTO and Slugged days:

    In the above example, challengerA could have taken a second PTO day on Thursday or Friday, however, she posted that they were to be counted as rest days, so she was charted for the posts she made.
    This is just a sample week. A challenger can use up to 5 PTO days, any given week or day.

                  Im in for 4 days. I feel off of the diet completly but I am ready to start back up again.

                    Hello,

                    Ready to sign up again. This challenge really helped me last year but I slacked off and regained a couple of pounds. Today I am joining Atkins again, starting to exercise to.

                    I would like to sign up for 5 days please and here are my measurements:

                    -Under arms, around chest: 40
                    -Fullest part of chest: 43
                    -Ribcage: 38
                    -Waist: 39.5
                    -Hips: 50
                    -Upper arm : 12.5
                    -Thigh: 30
                    -Weight: 219

                          Ok, i think it's time to try this challenge, all the challenges that i join help me TREMENDOUSLY!!!
                          I'd like to commit to 4 days per week.

                            this challenge is, imho, one of the best for keeping you busy with exercise. the 6 weeks goes by so fast when you keep up with your committed days

                              this challenge keeps me exercising, so i'm definitely in for another 3 days a week.
