  • #60 6 Week Exercise Challenge Sign Up

    The #60 6 WEC will begin on Sunday, March 21 and runs through Saturday, May 1

    You have 1 week to sign up, beginning now.
    If you are not familiar with the 6 WEC, please read the Official 6WEC Rules and Where To Measure.


    Sign up!
    1. Tell us how many days a week you will commit to exercising.

    2. Make a note of your beginning measurements.

    You do not have to post them here, in this thread, if you aren't comfortable doing that. Just be sure to write them down someplace safe to compare with your measurements at the end of the challenge.
    Please see the official rules for a picture that shows you where to measure. The following stats are the only ones that will be considered for the ribbon awards.
    -Under arms, around chest
    -Fullest part of chest
    -Ribcage
    -Waist
    -Hips
    -Upper arm x 2
    -Thigh x 2
    -Weight

    Don't forget to check in!
    1. Look for a new thread each day in this forum. It will be titled something like "6WEC#60, Week 1, Day 1, Sunday, March 21"

    2. Tell us whether you exercised, took a rest day or a PTO day. {I will adjust rest days and PTO days as needed}

    3. PLEASE try to post daily! If you can not post daily, please try to post at least a couple times a week.

    Two awards can be won and earned!
    1. The 3 Challengers who lose the most will earn a ribbon. Winners are determined first by inches and then by pounds, using the body stats listed above.
    Slugged Challengers are still able to win a ribbon so if you get slugged, continue to post.

    2. Those who complete all 6 weeks of the challenge without getting slugged will earn a slug free button.
    Each Challenger can use up to 5 PTO days that will not count against them.

              Just to let everyone know, I won't join this cycle of the challenge. I won't be dropping off the end of the earth, but for about 3 weeks in April I'll be out of town and for the most part away from a computer, and my scales. Please.... if you don't see me sign up right away on #61, PM me and remind me. I AM NOT disappearing.

                      sorry you won't be able to join us this time, kntry. i'll try to remember to give you a heads up for #61. i've got several spreadsheets going so i can make a notation on one of them.

                              Measurements starting 15th March 10 - last measured 1st May 10:
                              Starting Underarms around chest 38" Now 35" lost 3"
                              Starting Bust: 43" Now 41" lost 2"
                              Starting Ribcage: 35" Now 33.5" lost 1.5"
                              Starting Waist: 33" Now 32" lost 1"
                              Starting Hips: 42" Now 40.5" lost 1.5"
                              Stating Upper arm: 12" Now 11.5" lost 0.5" x 2 = 1"
                              Starting Thigh: 23" Now 22" lost 1" x 2 = 2"
                              Lost 12" total

                              Mount Everest - 6,035/58,070 steps - started 29th April 10
