so i knew i was developing hypothyroidism cause i was actually always naturally pretty thin compared to now and i know i didnt overeat, but thyroid problems run in the family and the medicine i was taking at the time had a weight gain side effect where people typically gain 25-50 lbs, and i had to gain the 50! 
Anyways, i go to the an endocrinologist and he orders a thyroid ultrasound and sure enough i got a multi nodular goiter thingy going on in there.
Go back to endocrinologist, he tells me "now don't use this as an excuse for being overweight!" UMMMM hello im on a necessary medicine that causes significant weight gain you ignorant
!! that plus the thyroid issue, obvisiously i am going to go from a healthy weight to being overweight.
