Very interesting and I hope it's true that not all supplements will be taken away. I depend daily upon a number of supplements in addition to the vitamins and minerals I take. Just about anything in the wrong amount is lethal.

One of the proposed provisions of the bill introduced by Dick Durbin is that any supplement manufacturer should notify the FDA within 15 days once they learn about adverse effects. I wonder what time constraints the doctors are given to report adverse effects of prescription drugs to the FDA. I recall a Daily Dose stating that many doctors never even tell the FDA of adverse effects. Gosh...I just wonder why...follow the $$$. :mad2
