    Cammy, not all vitamins are equal, but you don't have to do atkins although they are good, so are a lot of others. Get what you can find at a cost that you like.
    kebaldwin turned me on to vitacost.com. It has great prices and very easy to order from and I live overseas. Even if you don't purchase them from vitaminshoppe.com or vitacost.com, they give you tons of information about the products so you know what your getting.

      i've heard that the essential fatty acids are great for your skin...is this true?
      Starting Weight: 190 (2005)
      Goal Weight: 140 (met goal summer 06)
      Current Weight: refuse to get on the scale but all my clothes don't fit
      New Goal Weight: 135

        You can also increase your Omega 3's by eating Wild caught salmon instead of farmed salmon from the store. You can buy pasteured beef and chicken instead of grain fed beef and chicken from the store. Grain feeding increases the Omega 6's in the food. It is not an easy transition to make both financially or time wise - but to me, every little bit helps. Also, the animals are treated more humanly, don't have hormones injected, their healthcare is better. You can find out more at the Weston Price Foundation site and possibly www.mercola.com. Carol
