      Thanks for adding that, I forgot too. I have also read from other sources that caffeine is bad when combined with creatine.

        I thought I'd 'weigh in' on the subject as I've now been taking Creatine for a little over a month.

        On average I've gained around 2-3 lbs overall
        Increase in muscle mass, YES
        My wieghtlifter neighbor here commented yesterday It looked like I'd been adding muscle recently. I asked him if he ever used Creatine & said he used it for about a year but it made him to HUNGRY, he said he ate too much so he backd off. Also said he lost about half the muscle mass he gained when he stopped.
        I try to take one day at a time but sometimes several days attack me at once

          I am new to this section but have been on the boards over a year. My question is, could anyone give me a good receipe for a smoothie with the Creatine and L-Glutamine? I have been faithful to Atkins for over a year and have lost 65 pounds. Now that I'm around 212 I'm not embarassed to go back to the gym. I'm a Vietnam vet so I'm over 50 and have no delusions about becoming Adonis. But I really enjoy being back at the gym every other day. TYIA, Rick

            hey Devildog can't give you are recipe. but I just wanted to say I remember you from your doctor visit post way back when LOL Glad to see you doing so well and thank you for what you did over there. Make sure you drink lots of water while you load that creatine too.
