  • Thermogenic supplements.

I know the view of most people on the board of Thermogenic's and Appitite supressents, but I wanted to throw a post up saying that I am starting a cycle and I would keep everyone updated on how it goes.

I have used many in the past during my workouts. Hydroxicut,Ripped Fuel,Xenadrine, and Hot Rox. All worked well, when combined with exercise and proper eating. The first 3 I used while ephedra was still legal (which is bull crap IMO that they outlawed it) I have used Hot Rox since then and like it.

But this time I am trying something new, Lipovarin. I have done a decent amount of research and am goinig to try this guy out for a cycle. I will keep you all updated on my results on it.

Can I just ask why you are thinking of taking them?

      Re: Thermogenic supplements.

Sounds like he is trying to speed up his weight loss. Not to sound flip, but why else would he take it?

I too used to take hydroxycut and generic ephedra copycats a few years ago. I had good experiences with it for appetite suppressent, energy and weight loss as a side effect. However I did have a couple of instances when I wasn't careful and took doses too close together <before an early lunch> or with too much other caffeine sources <coffee> and could feel my heart racing/pounding. I also felt that I built up a tolerance too it within a month or so and would have to cycle off for a week or two. Those 'off' weeks weren't fun at all. I also have borderline high blood pressure, and when I was on the Hcut I was at least 20-30+ points higher on systolic, and a good 20 points higher on diastolic. This put me well above 'borderline'...not good.

I haven't taken any for a couple years but I still have stockpiles of the stuff from a large purchase before they were banned. I was tempted to start again but I haven't taken any because they contain a lot of caffeine which is a no no during induction.

I'm finding this WOE is easier than I thought and the weight seems to be coming off fast enough without them.

Pantera, I look forward to your progress/updates on this if you do decide to go through with it and hope folks don't flame you too badly up here. It would be interesting to see your results. Do monitor your BP carefully and FWIC most of the cases of ephedra problems were those who took them just before heavy excercise. I'm guessing other thermogenic stuff might be risky before heavy workouts as well.

Yeah that's sort of what I was thinking...to speed up the weight loss. I guess my comment would be...why. Well...I know why, but...this is the WOL, and a change has to be made...a commitment has to be made. Dont' get me wrong...I'm not criticizing, but with the health risks that go along with that....coupled with this great WOE...why take the risk. Get in the habit of choosing the right foods now and you'll see the pounds melt away. Good luck whatever you choose. And please keep us updated.

            Re: Thermogenic supplements.

I thank all of you for your concern and i mean it thank you. I don't feel I need these supplements, but i feel when used in the proper manner, they can aid in the weight loss arena. I have always followed the directions (never double or triple dosing) and have never had any adverse side effects. Many times when i start a cycle it has given me a noticable boost in weightloss, 2/3 lbs more a week than w/ out. I also take other supplements while dieting/lifting ie andro creatine whey (if u can call that a supplement) ect. I believe that these guyz are aids in the process not secret solve it all pills. This is just my opinion and i figured i would throw a post up for anyone who is interested. i apriciate (sp?) all of your opinions, and just wanted to let everyone know that this is not intended to "offend" anyone or to start a flame war. I just wanted the information to be out there. One thing is for sure, dont purchase any off brand ephedra unless you are 100% sure that it is real. with it being outlawed in the US there is all kinds of crap floating around. Secondly, (this is a defensive pre flame statement just incase) I have never and will never try illegal steroids, Winsterol V or Deca or any other for that matter. I use legal supplements to aid and believe that there is a large distance between the two.

As an update the lipovarin has shipped today and i will hopefully be starting the cycle next monday.

Thanks and have a good day all.

I've been taking Nutrex Lipo 6 for a couple days now. Been losing around 1.5lbs per day. I know some of it can be water weight, but I have a size 2 jeans in my closet and they're getting pretty lose since I started three days ago.
