  • Carbsmart multi?!?!

Thinking about getting that one a day carbsmart multi. Anyone have any good/bad luck with it? I usually take the GNC multi but I kid you not, I cannot take one more morning of dry heaving due to the flavor of it. Im concerned about the general store brands not being "enough". I read that alot of people take the centrum silver, I went to their site and says 50+? Im 30.

I take CarbSmart One a Day also. I had tried other vitamins for Carb Control and they would give me awful heartburn. I haven't had any of that with the CarbSmart and I have been taking them for over a year.

I take CarbSmart (I think, it's in a red bottle). I really feel this has helped with my weight loss.

If I remember right, CarbSmart has biotin added but not much. I normally take 1500 mcg of biotin twice a day along with a regular multi.

The age of the user doesn't matter - that's just marketing. The vitamins for those 50+ usually don't include iron, so I often look for the 'Silver' versions.

I take the target version of centrum silver and I'm 28. i did it for the iron free aspect also. I compared the ingredients and they were comparable, so i went with the less expensive.

Thanks for the info, so far they are treating me well. I'll have to remember the silver and store brand thing for when I run out to compare prices.

I take the Costco version {Kirkland} of Centurm. The ingredients were almost all exactly the same, and for the ones that weren't, Kirkland's had the higher percentages. I paid $11.00 for 500 and the Centrum was $17.00 for far less than 500 {don't remember the exact amount, but the bottle was ALOT smaller}. I have issues with multi-vitamis making me nauseous, but these don't bother me at all.

Are you supposed to chew or swallow carbsmarts?

The carbsmarts are vitamins you swallow - not chewable.

                          Re: Carbsmart multi?!?!

So I know why my vitamins were on sale... I was looking at the label checking out the chart, when I noticed.. they expired in like sept of 2005. Doh stupid me for not checking to begin with. Although the kids were not behaving and I was trying to get out of there quickly.. after all Walmart is a crazy place I hate going there. It makes me angry that 1. I have to drive all the way back to town for 8 bucks within 30 days.. it will cost me more in gas /sigh, 2. it makes me wonder if that is even legal for them to sell them out of date like that. I mean its not like it was just approaching the expiration date... Its been almost 8 months!
