  • Lipovarin...does it really work?

I lost 4 stones for my wedding five years ago on the Atkins diet.....but, of course, I have put it all on again. Now I am back on it, it seems so much harder and slower than last time.

Someone told me that Lipovarin will help me lose wight whilst on Atkins very easily.

    Can anyone confirm this?

    Many thanks

I don't put much stock in any of the so-called metabolism-boosters or fat-burners, and Lipovarin contains a lot of caffeine (definitely not welcome on Atkins).

I found this review which seems to think it's OK, but not a miracle: http://www.ultimatefatburner.com/lipovarin-review.html
Female / Currently on Extended Induction (again), begun 6/2/08.

I did Extended Induction from 1/3 to 5/9 (2006) and lost 55 pounds, so I know I can do it again!

    The reason I quit...

To be honest, if there was a pill to take that would get you to lose weight, everyone would have heard of it and be taking it. Weight loss does not come in a pill, try Atkins for one month (no cheating, no frankenfoods) and exercise and see how you do. I really feel they are unhealthy and a waste of money. Just my 2 cents worth.
What would we do without it?

      Mini-goal- 149 by June 1st. I can do it!!!

        Re: Lipovarin...does it really work?

        Thanks for the feedback guys.

To be honest I have just received 150 capsules of Lipovarin. I am going to give them a go because, as I said, it seems to be coming of a lot slower this time.

Someone told me about the 'golden shot' or something on Atkins....ie...You have one real chance of losing it and if you pile it on again it is much harder to take off next time round. Not sure this is true...but it is tougher this time round.

Anyway we will see. I will post again soon to let anyone who is interested know how the pills are doing with a low carb diet.

        Take care

It never ceases to amaze me of how easy and how effective this ***diet*** is!!

I have since re-gained a bit of weight, but that is soon to be coming off again!

            Re: Lipovarin...does it really work?

If I had to rely on a pill to lose or maintain weight, there are two things that would happen I would either go broke or go off (and without my crutch go back to my original weight). I think to see true permanent weight loss one has to alter how they are eating (get rid of the whites, eat til satisfied, etc.) and move more (exercise). Without learning those two things any weight loss is temporary. In the end, whatever control you gain over what you eat has to be because internally you wanted it rather than something external IMO.
