    For those using flaxseed as extra fiber, do you continue using it forever or just untill your bowel movements are regular? If you did stop did you stay regular?

    once you have a constipation issue during induction you will want to keep the added fiber as part of your Atkins Way Of Eating. When you move to OWL you will be adding back foods that contain more fiber and might not need the extra rule 12 added fiber. Most folk love the ways they can use the flax seed meal as a flour and or thickener and keep it as part of their Atkins.

      Flax seed makes me feel so much better and is so tasty--I don't know why you'd ever want to stop!!

        Really? what do you use flaxseed in that is tasty? I have just been taking a spoonful with my tea and it's awful!

          LOL Ugh no wonder you don't like it.
          if you added it to the mock danish it will be more bread like
          you can make induction legal hot cakes with it check the 5 min of fame topic for the recipe as I just posted it for looking forward there
          you can make hot cereal with it
          you can make not2lates chips with it
          you can make an induction legal cookie
          you can make pudding
          you can make cake with it
          you can make induction legal flax muffins and even the famous ulgy looking induction bread posted by Book
          it is an egg and/or oil sub in cooking and it works like flour if you lett the batter sit about 5 min for the flax to develope

              5 Senna Prompt capsules solves the fiber need for me, added to my daily supplement regimen... At $1 a bottle at the dollar store, and less hassle than trying to disguise flaxseed in my otherwise seedless induction menu.

                OMG that cookie is fantastic! My kids love them too. I wanted to have one everyday, so now I only have them as an occasional treat. I think im splenda/sugar sensative.

                  correction to my prior post - the ingredients are psyllium husks & senna extract. Also, now just do a couple at a time, because 5 gave me cramps.
