  • Women's one a day vitamin

Hi everyone, I am on my last day of induction and figured I might want to start taking a daily multi-vitamin so I went and bought some Women's One A Day, are those ok to take or does anyone have any suggestions on what I should be taking?

    Thanks,
    Kim

    Hey Kim-
Let the experts comment, but I believe that Dr. A recommends that you take a supplement that doesn't contain iron. Most of the women's vitamins are loaded with it, so check the label. I take something called "carb-smart" that omits the iron. There are other supplements that are recommended for curbing cravings and such, but I'll have to read up on that and get back to you. I'm ashamed to say that I'm very inconsistent about taking a pill a day. I just forget. Do they make a pill for that......?

I can't remember if you are using fitday or not but it is great to check how much iron you are getting on the report screen. I may be in the minority on this but I usually don't get enough iron with just my food intake so I don't opt out on the iron in my vitamin.
