So I go into GNC and this guy is telling me all about this product called Conjugated Linoleic Acid (CLA). He tells me that its supposed to trick your body into burning fat from other areas and concentrate on the tummy area. I came home, tried to research a bit of it but couldn't find any information supporting his theory. I did read however that it helps to promote muscle gain/maintence. Anyone have any insightful information about CLA? Does it work like he states or is it a waste of money? If it does work, how much should I take and any suggestions on brands?
They also keep telling me that my Carbsmart vitamin is terrible, my body only gets 30% of what it claims to give me. I just cannot tolerate their womens muti, makes me dry heave! Is the 30% thing really true?
