Whole flax seeds probably wouldn't be the best way to take them. Our digestive systems aren't optimized for that kind of roughage. I've found the best way is ground flaxmeal.
Also psyllium husks
The best way is by incorporating fibrous food into your diet. Look for veggies that have high fiber.

Yep, you definitely need to grind them up. They absorb the water and bulk up inside intestines. Ground flaxmeal definitely works wonders for me, psyllium husk (like in SF Metamucil) also works well.Kent - 35-M-6'4"

also vitamin C and magnesium works but it is not recommended to use it frecuently

question.. can psyllium husks (pills) be taken daily? I know dr atkins recommends it for induction but what about longterm use?5'4
