    Who me? I take GNC Vitamin C crystals, which is buffered and for each 1/2 teaspoon (2.5g) , there's 2000mg of Vitamin C (as Calcium ascorbate). It's nice in the powered form because it just dissolves in water instead of being in a long line of pills.
    HW=250+/222/GW=175 37F/5'7
    Revamped my WOL starting 2/10/08.

      I also use echinachea but only when i am getting sick. As soon i think i might be getting sick i start taking it.

        I can honestly say your best prevention for colds is washing your hands constantly ...and keeping them the heck away from your face ..especially this time of year!!!
        never put your hands near your face after touching money either ....

        I get hacked on all day long and never get sick ..but I wash my hands as well ..and really I take the airbornes for the placibo affect because to be honest I am not convinced they work ...

          I agree with you, Heidi. Handwashing is a must to help keep you from getting sick as often. Since I wash my hands a lot with my line of work, my only real problem is drying.

            My antioxidant megadose saved me again this weekend. I woke up in the middle of the night with telltale dry, sore throat and glands. Within about 20 minutes of taking 1000 mg ascorbates plus Vit E, A & zinc the symptoms started to go away. Of course, a lot of water made it an even better defense!

              I've tried many vitamin combinations and echinacea for colds, and have never had much success with them...I've always gotten at least 3 or 4 colds every winter. Strange, but last summer I started taking B12 for energy and I haven't gotten one yet, even though my family members have had several. As far as I can think of, that's the only thing I've changed.
