I don't know about being the smartest smartypants, but thanks for thinking so. I promise I won't let it get to my head.

You will be just fine taking both omega 3 and evening primrose oil capsules together.

Let me know if you need some more info.

I have some other questions, but I am good w/ the Omega's so I will post it in the other thread if that's cool.

            Thanks again!

Re: Nutrient of the week: Omega 3-6-9!

I've checked the name-brands in my area and all seem fine. No unwanted additives and such. If you're in the US, you should be just fine picking any of these. I've also checked the "store brand" at Target and it seemed good, too.

Just read the label carefully. If you have any further questions, just ask.

Re: Nutrient of the week: Omega 3-6-9!

I was listening to Splendid Table one weekend on PBS and they were talking about the possibility that Omega "fish" oils may be contaminated with more than just mercury and since both DH and I have been taking Fish Oil I was worried. So I spent a long time on the internet just now and have come to the conclusion that if I were either a child or pregnant, I would think twice about using them and use flax seed oil instead, but now that I've read about 3 different studies, I think fish oil is probably safe.
My only concern is while I hate to say this, I don't want anything in my mouth coming from China right now, and you really can't tell where these product are made
