    OK here are the vitamins that I picked out at walmart today:

    One a Day all day energy - it only has 9mg of iron I couldnt find a lower dosage.

    flax, fish, and borage oil capsules

    calcium and magnesium - my family has a past of osteoprosis(sp) and I have been having cramps in my calfs while doing my treadmill for the magnesium

    I also added:

    super B-complex

    L-Carnitine

    I was going to get the CoQ10 also but I didn't bring my list and I keep thinking it was CoQ12 lol.

    Ok how does this sound is there anything I might need that Im missing I want to stay nice and healty thanks all for your input.

    Hey, couple things. I'm a little concerned that that one-a-day all day energy may not be the right choice. It may be fine but besides the iron it also has caffeine, about the same amount as in one cup of coffee. THe same company makes a one-a-day carbsmart pill, or you might look into Centrum Silver.

    As far as what you might be missing you might also want to get some chromium, DANDR and the website both mention it as good for weight loss and muscle building.

    Here is a quote from the website.

    Chromium, which deserves the most attention, helps activate the uptake of insulin at its receptor sites. It is best assimilated in the form of chromium polynicotinate. A spate of studies has shown that chromium will build muscle, decrease body fat and lower cholesterol levels1. Dose;300 mcg, is sufficient for most individuals while others may need up to 800 to 1,000 mcg per day.

    As you can see they recommend 300 for the average person. Your one a day already has 100mcg so you might want to take some extra.

      Ok thanks I did notice the caffine on them after I got home but I have never had problems with it causing cravings so I thought I would try it. So far so good I still never feel hungry. I put the chomium on my shopping list for my next visit thanks for looking my vitamins over. stacey

        A pinch of epsom salts dissolved in water can supplement Mg.
