  • andrew lessman vitamins?

anyone take andrew lessman supplements? i like that they are all natural and without weird fillers and whatever else added in them. but i guess my real question is, does it matter that much? is it a waste to spend more money on vitamins? but i feel like if i buy the cheap generic (sp) brand that i am not really getting all the benefits and nutrients.

    Re: andrew lessman vitamins?

I have not tried Andrew Lessman's supplements, although I have seen him on TV with his wares. I will address your other question, however, about the naturalness of supplements...

"does it matter that much?" This is a personal decision. For some people, consuming only all-natural products, regardless if it is better/worse/same compared to synthetic or a combination thereof, is the only viable choice. It is similar to choosing "organic" vs "non-organic" when you're browsing the veggie isle at the grocery store. Some people can tell a difference in choosing organic items and are willing to pay the premium, while other people can not tell the difference and are satisfied at choosing non-organic products.

With supplements, some vitamins & minerals do come from natural sources while others are synthetic. You can easily have a mixture of souces when you're taking a multivitamin. If you have a chance of reading Atkins' VitaNutrients book, it will help you decide what to choose. It is clearly written for the average person (not full of medical-ese terminology).

If you're not overly concerned with the origin of the ingredients, then trying out a common multivitamin, such as Centrum or even a generic brand, will be helpful and a great start. Keeping a journal will be helpful, too. After you finish taking a bottle of centrum or generic, feel free to switch to the more expensive "organic" multivitamin and note any changes. You can then compare for yourself if the organic one is worthwhile or not compared to the previous one.

    Good luck!

I take Andrew Lessman's Women's Wellness which I really love and also his Omega 3. I sometimes think we get what we pay for but then again some of his products seem to be quite pricy. I stocked up on the Wellness when he had a special of $15 off and then free shipping, so that made a difference.

I am searching for the perfect daily vitamin so reading all of this thread for some answers !

Great question! I not only work for Andrew Lessman's ProCaps Labs in Henderson Nevada, but also take his products. And here is why.

Did you know hard tablet vitamins like Centrum and Theragram M contain car wax?! Hard tablet vitamins can even pass through you without ever being digested. Check this out! In Tacoma WA, 250,000 pounds of undigested vitamin and mineral pills are pulled out of the sewers every six weeks. In Salt Lake City, over 150 gallons of vitamins and mineral pills show up in their filters every month.

Store bought multivitamins have the consistency of crushed-up rocks, which our bodies were never designed to digest. Andrew Lessman's product comes in a gelatin capsule which quickly dissolves in your stomach. Furthermore, the nutrients in the capsule come in an ultra fine micro granulated powder which your body can actually absorbed.

I suggest Women's Esential Life Rx if you're on a budget. If you absolutely can't afford his products you should at least purchase supplements in a gelatin capsule.
